Our purpose for the Official Tea Party Approved website is to allow all candidates who are willing to commit to the Tea Party Principles of smaller government, less taxes and upholding the Constitution are held accountable and are willing to commit in writing to these principles. After researching the candidates political positions we determine if they should be approved. We do not endorse any candidate. We only inform the public that the candidate is willing to be held accountable to the Tea Party principles and values and that we have given them the “Official Tea Party Approved” seal.
There are several hundred tea parties around the country who have worked very hard to create an enormous grass roots organization to voice their political views throughout the country. We applaud their efforts. If any of the several hundred local tea parties across the country believe that one of our Tea party approved candidates should not receive the “Official Tea Party Approved” Seal we will consider removal of that candidate. We reserve the right to remove any candidate at any time for any reason. Please contact us at admin@officialteaparty.com .
We do not accept money from any special interest groups, Political Action committees or individual voters. We do request a donation of $100 to help us offset the cost of running the website. We have recently made this donation optional.
